DIY
The best way to save money is by “doing it yourself”. It can be expensive hiring people to fix things, or buying premade items you could easily make yourself!
I really wanted to include a “DIY” page on walletwhisperer.com because my husband and I save so much money doing things ourself. We do our own renovations, decorations, gardens, and so much more. Before I owned we bought our house 4 years ago, we didn’t know how to do any of this stuff. It is amazing how much you can learn in a short amount of time if you are willing.
I want to help you become confident in your ability to do things yourself. You may make mistakes (I make them all the time), but in the process you will learn how to become more self sufficient and save money.
As I showcase the projects we have done around the house, I want you to take caution in replicating them. Please read my Privacy Policy page as I discuss liabilities on there.
If you attempt to fix any electrical or plumbing problems yourself, please take caution. If you are not confident in your abilities, please call a professional.
If you have any questions or concerns about the project I showcase here, don’t hesitate to ask!
