I have made some great financial decisions, and many terrible financial decisions. Several years ago, when I was up to my eyeballs in debt, I started doing research in hopes in finding all the solutions to my problems. Although there is so much wonderful information on the interwebs, I feel like a lot of financial information caters to “Type A” personalities. Although I love you organized, list making, determined individuals, I found it difficult to stay on track and stay focused.

After continuously making terrible financial decisions even though I “knew” better I realized the problem I had was much deeper than the inability to stay organized. I had to really examine myself, my habits, and my abilities in order to figure out what the true issue was. I was shocked to discover that the real issue was that I didn’t believe in myself. I was afraid to succeed because I felt like I didn’t deserve it. I lacked focus and purpose, which allowed me to “slack off” in the financial department.

Once started believing in myself, I was able serious about improving my life and my finances. Since then things have gotten so much better. Although I am not out of debt yet, I am tackling it faster than I dreamed could be possible. I am saying “no” to overspending, yet I seem to be happier and enjoy life more.

I believe everyone should be able to fulfill their dreams, no matter what they are (well, maybe not flying on a Pegasus, or having dinner on Mars, but you get it). I really want to help you reach your aspirations by encouraging you and teaching you what I have learned. If can I help you gain control of your finances, even a little bit, that would mean so much to me.

I want to emphasize that money will not make you happy, but a lack of it can make you miserable. Whether you’re drowning in debt, living paycheck to paycheck, or just want to be able to do what you want, you have come to the right place.
